As the founder of the Redeemed Community, guided by the hand of God, our journey from a humble beginning to the flourishing fellowship we share today is a testament to His grace and mercy. Reflecting upon our shared growth and the blessings we’ve witnessed, I am constantly drawn back to the divine inspiration that sparked this blessed mission.

Every journey starts with a vision, a calling from God. My vision was shaped by prayerful reflection, fellowship with believers, and an unwavering faith in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. The Lord placed a simple yet profound calling on my heart: to establish a haven where every soul, regardless of their past, would not only find acceptance in His love but also an opportunity for transformation and renewal in Christ. Today, the Redeemed Community stands as a beacon of that vision, a living witness to God’s promise, and it is all because of His grace working through each of you.

Our recent launch of the “Bridge to Freedom” program marks a significant milestone in our journey. This initiative embodies the heart of our mission, offering a tangible and spiritual bridge that guides our incarcerated brothers and sisters towards a future filled with hope and redemption in Christ. The success of this program, like all our endeavors, is in God’s hands, and He works through your involvement, your testimonies, and your steadfast belief in the power of salvation and new beginnings.

I am deeply grateful to every one of you, from those who have walked with us since our early days to those who have recently joined our community, united in the love of Christ. Your faith in the transformative power of Jesus, your stories of renewal, and the support you offer each other strengthen our collective commitment to walk in His path.

We believe that recovery is possible when individuals have access to the essential elements of support, including affordability, convenience, personal relevance, safety, and resources. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive curriculum that is both affordable and relevant, with in-person and virtual group options that provide convenient and safer locations for all. We also prioritize the provision of resources that connect individuals to professional care and residential programs as needed. As we strive to make recovery accessible to all, we are committed to upholding the principles of inclusion and equitable access to care for all individuals.

Our Method

The method of the Redeemed Community is simple. We provide support through spiritual mental and physical coaching, education, personal development training in the area of life skills and coping, as well as economic services to better prepare justice-involved men and women for a successful transition back into the free society.



Transformation

Personal transformation is a journey that requires courage, faith, and commitment. It is a process of growth and change that can bring up questions such as, “How long will this take?” or “What if I stumble along the way?” or “When will I be truly free?” Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing community that supports and guides individuals through this transformative process. With a Biblical perspective and relevant resources, we empower and equip people to overcome obstacles, break free from patterns of the past, and experience true freedom and abundant life.

At the heart of recovery lies a sense of community and connection. Recovery is not just an individual journey, but a collective effort that requires the support and engagement of a larger network. Our mission is to foster a sense of community and belonging through the provision of in-person and virtual groups that empower individuals to achieve their goals and build a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. We are committed to training community leaders and equipping them with the tools and resources needed to establish and sustain recovery-oriented groups that promote long-term recovery and wellness for all.
